EDRM XML (2007-2008) Compliance Working Group

Working Group Mission

The compliance working group will define how product and service compliance with the EDRM XML schema can be verified by vendors and customers. Compliance verification will be defined in terms of published processes and sample documents available to anyone. It should be possible for vendors to test their own products and services for compliance and for customers to independently verify those results. The overall goal of the EDRM XML schema is to standardize the format for data sets to be exchanged between different products and services. Therefore, compliance verification should prioritize selection of data types and fields based on prevalence in the market.
