Working Group Mission

The Evergreen Identification Working Group's objective is to define what potentially relevant data within the context of early warning, litigation, internal investigation, government investigation or regulatory inquiry ("the matter") is maintained; where it is maintained; how it is stored; who are the custodians and the data stewards; and the policies, practices & regulatory requirements that govern data storage. In concert with preservation, this working group will deal with the implementation or modification of policies, practices and preservation steps defined by information management or dictated by the matter; and provide best practices and tools to facilitate the process.
