Definitions

  • Information about a file, such as file signature, author, size, name, path, and creating and modification dates. This data is the accumulation of what is in the file, on the media label, discovered by the operator, and contributed by the user. Collectively, it represents one of the values of examining an electronic file as opposed to the printed version. [1]
