  • Application files in their original file format. Also used in the context of delivering native file processing.[1]
  • A file saved in the format of the original application used to create the file. Dealing with native files can minimize expensive per-page costs for the traditional TIFF and/or PDF processing and will maximize the relevant information available from the file.[2] [3]
  • The source document, as collected from the source computer or server, before any conversion or processing of the document.[4] [5] [6]
  • A document produced in the format in which it was originally created.
