Secure HTTP

Secure HTTP or S-HTTP enables the secure exchange of information and files on the Web. S-HTTP files are encrypted and/or contain a digital certificate. This type of transaction security is likely to be used by financial institutions, because S-HTTP is more secure than a userID and password.[1]
