Analysis techniques can help to ensure that you interview the right people and ask the right questions the first time. During initial case assessment, possibly refined through additional collections, you were able to identify which people were connected to the central issues of the case, and what their connections are (e.g., specific topics, materials, and dates that link them in). This information can be used to identify the important people up front, avoid irrelevant people, and determine the specific topics that need further investigation through interviews. With this information, interviews can start before review is completed to further gain important knowledge quickly.
