XML
Metadata and Extracted text can be delivered in XML format (see EDRM XML node). This allows for a standard mechanism for transferring or transporting data from one service provider to another, or to any downstream recipient.
Pass Through
After selection of a target set of data during the processing phase that data may simply “pass through” to a review component, as opposed to being transported from a processing platform to a separate review platform.
Images
Imaged documents are typically delivered in a file directory system, often with accompanying cross-reference files to enable linking the images to associated metadata and extracted text.
Native
Native documents are typically delivered in a file directory system, often with accompanying cross-reference files to enable linking to associated metadata and extracted text, and also to keep track of parent-child relationships between items.
Proprietary DB Load
(metadata, extracted text, native links, e-mail renderings) The metadata and extracted text may be formatted to the specifications of various litigation review applications. This enables transfer of review database records to downstream applications that may not be compliant with standard XML transfer specifications.
