| XML 2 Compliance Working Group |
| The compliance working group will define how product and service compliance with the EDRM XML schema can be verified by vendors and customers. Compliance verification will be defined in terms of published processes and sample documents available to anyone. It should be possible for vendors to test their own products and services for compliance and for customers to independently verify those results. The overall goal of the EDRM XML schema is to standardize the format for data sets to be exchanged between different products and services. Therefore, compliance verification should prioritize selection of data types and fields based on prevalence in the market. |

| XML 2 Value Proposition Working Group |
| The objective of the EDRM XML 2 Value Proposition Working Group is to develop a concise statement that clearly articulates both the short and long term objectives and benefits of the Project to other EDRM participants as well as the general public. The Value Proposition, which is an extension of the Project's stated goals, will be critical to generating buy-in from the eDiscovery community. Content from the Value Proposition will propagate to various downstream Project documentation including data sheets and other marketing material. |

| The goal of the EDRM XML 2 OASIS Liaison Working Group is to have the EDRM XML Schema adopted as an approved OASIS standard. The EDRM XML 2 OASIS Liaison Working Group will promote the EDRM XML Schema to OASIS and work with the OASIS Technical Committee and the EDRM XML 2 Working Groups in order to reach this goal. |
