Brad has more than 30 years of experience in the high-tech and enterprise software sectors, including assisting Fortune 1000 companies in enhancing their ediscovery preparedness through technology and process improvement. Brad is a frequent author and speaker on data preservation and ediscovery issues, including articles in National Law Journal, Corporate Counsel, Metropolitan Corporate Counsel and Information Management and presentations at leading industry events such as LegalTech New York. Prior to joining Zapproved, he led the development of electronic discovery readiness consulting efforts for Fios, Inc. from 2004 to 2009. Joanna Mason, AACP
Manager, Legal Operations – Paraprofessionals & Records Management, Andeavor

Joanna Mason is a Legal Operations Manager for Paraprofessionals and Records Management at Andeavor (formerly Tesoro Corporation), an independent refiner and marketer of petroleum products. In her first year she significantly improved the company’s legal hold and ediscovery processes, earning both yellow and green belts for utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies in legal hold process development. She and her team were also recognized with a 2018 ACC Value Champions Award for their leading management practices. Prior to Andeavor, Joanna retired from the U.S. Army after 20 years of honorable service with the Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps. Joanna holds a Master of Science in Leadership degree from Capella University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Saint Leo University.

Marcy Hernandez
The Capital Group, Senior Compliance Specialist

Marcy is responsible for e-discovery management for Capital Group, the home of the American Funds family of mutual funds. Since joining Capital Group in 2001, Marcy has been the Senior Compliance Specialist specializing in employment litigation, regulatory inquiries and securities litigation for the company’s legal teams in the U.S. and Europe. Marcy also works closely with Capital Group’s IT and Data Security teams regarding compliance, data preservation, and management. Prior to Capital Group, Marcy worked at Morrison & Foerster in Los Angeles, as well as other top law firms in San Francisco and Dallas. Marcy has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Texas Christian University.
