Definition(s)

  • An Iterative Training regimen in which the Training Set is repeatedly augmented by additional Documents chosen by the Machine Learning Algorithm, and coded by one or more Subject Matter Expert(s). 1
  • A form of supervised machine learning that presents for review or human categorization the documents with the highest current uncertainty, those documents that will be most informative about how to update the learning process. 2 3
