Non-Relevant / Not Relevant

Definition(s)

In Information Retrieval, a Document is considered Non-Relevant (or Not Relevant) if it does not meet the Information Need of the search or review effort. The synonym “irrelevant” is rarely used in Information Retrieval. 1
