Social Network Analysis

Definition(s)

  • Investigations of who in an organization is communicating with whom. These connections are often displayed as a network diagram, with individuals as nodes and the emails or other communications between them as links. Social networks are often useful to determine how information has been flowing through an organization. They can also help to identify individuals with specific kinds of knowledge.  1
